Your safety is our top priority. 080list is a 100% free community marketplace, which means we do not inspect items or handle payments. To protect yourself from fraud and scams, follow these rules strictly.
Meeting the seller or buyer
- Meet only in public places — malls, fuel stations, supermarkets or fast-food restaurants are ideal.
- Never go alone. Take a friend or family member when meeting someone for the first time.
- Never meet in private or isolated zones — no stranger's house, hotel room or secluded location.
Payments and inspections
- Inspect thoroughly before paying. Check condition, serial numbers and working state — especially phones, laptops and cars.
- No advance payments. Never send a deposit, shipping fee, commitment fee or half-payment before inspection.
- Beware of prices that are too good to be true. A brand-new iPhone or car far below market rate is almost always a scam.
- Pay by secure bank transfer only when you are fully satisfied, and confirm the transfer while still with the seller.
Reporting fraud
- If a user acts suspiciously, asks for advance money or posts fake items, tap "Report Ad" immediately.
- We ban fraudulent accounts and block their mobile lines from accessing 080list.
